I have been asked to make a 1940's Odile tutu for a film, and I was wondering what the differences might be between bodices and skirts then and now. Obviously I haveElooked at Fonteyn pictures, but would appreciate any advice. I have the Tutus that dance patterns, which I shall alter. Did they have as many layers of net, and did they use a plate?
