alison
Threads now duly merged, thank you, Fonty. No wonder I couldn't find the other one: it didn't occur to me that they'd be two separate words

alison
I went to see Blinded By The Light at the cinema recently, and ever since I've had Springsteen's Promised Land buzzing round my head! I managed to chase it away for a while with Sherry Darling and Hungry Heart, but it's back again

taxi4ballet
I've currently got the theme tune to Raiders of the Lost Ark buzzing round in my head. It's making me want a Terry's chocolate orange 😋
alison
I could cheerfully throttle whoever put together tonight's 7 pm mixtape on Radio 3: I shall probably have Bruce Springsteen and the Seeger Sessions Band singing "Oh Mary Don't You Weep" going round my brain for days on end now. "Oh Mary don't you weep don't mourn, Oh Mary don't you weep don't mourn, Pharaoh's army got drownded, Oh Mary don't you weep ..." Great fun, but what's it doing on a "classical" station?! Jan McNulty
I've got Birmingham Royal Ballet to thank for the reconciliation duet from Two Pigeons and the ballroom duet from Cinderella alternating in my ears! Oh and with a dash of Don Q thrown in!!
RuthE
Any sense of loss I may feel when the current RB run of Onegin is over will definitely be offset by the benefit of no longer having the main pas de deux music going through my head almost constantly for the past month! alison
What, Francesca da Rimini? I've got so many bits of it alternating in my head (along with the Springsteen - interesting mixture) that I can't remember what's what now. It usually tends to be the Lensky/Olga pdd, the Olga/Onegin pdd where she's flirting with him, various bits of Francesca d. R., the Tatiana/Gremin pdd, various bits from various ball scenes ... there are times when I wish I didn't know the score quite as well as I do! Pas de Quatre
Oh Fortuna misheard lyrics Beware, once you have seen this you cannot unsee it. DD was involved in a production recently that used part of Oh Fortuna, as they were all familiar with this spoof, they actually ended up using those words as their cues in reheasal - "OK let's take it from ..."

alison
I'm now wishing I hadn't watched NYCB in Carousel - A Dance the other day: can't get various bits of the songs from Carousel out of my brain now!
Fonty
This song popped in to my head a couple of days ago for some unknown reason. 😉 Now I just can't get it out of my head:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a9XcuN5hZwk
