John Mallinson
Sir Kenneth MacMillan's The Prince of the Pagodas was first performed by The Royal Ballet in 1989 with Darcey Bussell, Fiona Chadwick and Jonathan Cope as the principal dancers. It has not been on stage since 1996. The opening night curtain call: Many thanks to the ROH for allowing Dave Morgan to take curtain call photos on the first night of this important revival.
