  1. These are pink satin Katz full sole ballet shoes in size 1and a half. They are in good condition having been worn only for a few performances but there is a little fraying on the inside where ribbons were removed for re-use. My daughter has also written her name on the inside in biro but neither of these affect the outside. £3.50 to include postage. I would prefer to deal via paypal as this is quick and easy but if you are interested and don't have an account we can see what else we can arrange.
  2. I have a black Plume leotard for sale. It is slightly gathered at the front and the camisole straps cross over at the back. It is available from Dance Direct and can be seen here: http://www.dancedirect.com/uk/Products/Ballet-Children/P77C/plume-leotard-camisole-gatheredfront-crisscrossback/ It says Age 10 but fitted my petite 13 year old last year! There is very slight fading around some of the seams but this is barely noticeable and can't be seen from a distance! This is a great leo for summer schools that ask for black or dark leotards as it is classic in style but a bit different from a plain regulation one. £4.00 to include postage. I would prefer to deal via paypal as this is quick and easy but if you are interested and don't have an account we can see what else we can arrange.
  3. Elmhurst does not claim to be a feeder school to any company. Its full title is Elmhurst School for Dance in Association with Birmingham Royal Ballet. Juliew has already mentioned ways in which the association is visible on a day to day basis and this is a great benefit to the students, wherever they end up dancing.
  4. Can you remember, Dadadance, if they all got finals?
  5. I'm not so bothered that people aren't able to see how old I am
  6. Just checked and the edit button is still available on a post that I made on the other site a couple of weeks ago. There must be a way......
  7. All that seems to make sense as I now can't edit the post above a few hours later! I wonder if perhaps the time allowed for an edit can be set by the site administrators? I think I have indefinite editing on the other IPS site that I use.
  8. I have just tried to edit an existing post but with no success. On another forum I use that is run by IPS an edit button appears at the bottom of your post, by the report and quote buttons. However this did not appear on my original post so I made a further post to update the information. Guess what? The edit button then appeared on that one but when I pressed it to experiment it told me I didn't have permission to edit it - even though it was my post! The help function gives some info but I can't work out how to implement it! Sorry, this is a long way of saying does anyone know how to edit your own post once it has gone live? OK, now I am totally confused as I have managed to edit this one but didn't do anything differently!! There are still no edit buttons on my posts on the thread about vocational exams. Could it be system glitch?
  9. @ballemum I should have said that the link I posted above shows the mark scheme for the Advanced exams. I couldn't see how to edit a post - lots of info in help but I don't know how to access the controls to do it!!
  10. You can see the specifications for the exam here: http://www.rad.org.uk/files/ART371_Level%204%20Voc%20Specification%20v2%20November%202010.pdf
  11. Just to clarify that it is not until Advanced 1 RAD that it is necessary to get above a certain mark in every section to obtain a pass overall. IF, Intermediate and, at present at least, Advanced Foundation are still just given an overall percentage which is used to determine the grade awarded.
  12. Thank you, Bruce, for your thoughtful and encouraging words.
