I should add that Kinoshita Group which is a supporter to both Royal Opera House and Royal Ballet School has made it possible NNTT’s London visit.

More Swan Lake shows are coming, but completely different version.
Some people might’ve seen this version at ROH in the past.

When I went to see DNB's Raymonda last year, I stayed Hotel Motel One Amsterdam-Waterlooplien.
It is a budget hotel.
But the beauty of this hotel is 10 minute walk from the theatre and not a complicated route.
You just walk down from the hotel straight on the big street.
For hotel in Copenhagen, there are number of hotels near The Royal Theatre.
The rate is widely varied.
My favourite is Hotel Bethel.
It is not a big hotel and you may find plain.
5 minute walk from the theatre.
The hotel faces to Nyhavn canal, but not necessary to have a view though.
Another my favourite hotel is Copenhagen Admiral.
It can be pricy. The service is excellent.
If you are lucky, you might have New Opera House view from your room.
8 - 10 minutes walk from the theatre.
Since Metro completed the expansion, Kongens Nytorv station has become more convenient.
One of the exits is right next to The Royal Theatre.

There is another performance in Himeji City on 8th July.
"The Royal Ballet Gala" is the programme.
https://himeji-culture.jp/hall_event/9410
Google translation icon is embedded.
From this site, you can see the top 3 priced tickets are all sold out.
Veune info. 2010 seating hall.
I think the organiser, Japan Performing Arts Foundation (known as NBS in Japan) covers Tokyo area.
The other performances in regional cities are organised by local council or another agency.
For Royal Ballet Japan tour in 2023, Osaka show - another agency, Himeji show - Local council.
I guess Royal Ballet has a touring package with just JPAF.

Yes, thank you, Yumiko - I've only managed to watch this on a tablet - PC would give me sound but only still pictures - but even on the small screen I really liked Caroline Baldwin's Giselle.
Rather touching that Queen Margrethe should ask for her own gala to start with a minute's silence for our Queen.
I used Edge which works for me. If you use a different browser, it is worth trying.
I believe you have been following RDB.
Have you seen documentary series?
The first one picks up 4 or maybe 5 dancers.
The second one follows the artistic director Mr Nikolaj Hübbe.
Most of the dialogues are in Danish, occasionally in English.
I thought they were not available to view by now, but we can still watch them.
7 episodes, 30 minutes per episode televised in August/September 2017.
4 episodes,30 minutes per episode, televised in September 2020.
The link below should show all episodes in one page.
4 episodes link - Hübbe has the Power

Hello Moderator team.
Could yo correct the spell of the Queen’s name in the title and if possible, in my first posting, please?
Too late for me to edit.
Thank you.

It would be great if some of her lovely designs for A Folk Tale (which I like more than the ones in the current production) could be shown at the performance! Even if it’s just the costumes being worn for a pas de deux. I haven’t seen it yet but will try to find it online Her Majesty Queen Margrethe is a fan of ballet and an accomplished painter and artist- hope the programme did her justice.
Interesting choice of programming- is she a fan of Jerome Robbins’ work or the ballet The Concert?
Queen Margrethe designs ballet costumes.
The costumes for the programme The Kompagnie B performed which I could not catch the title was designed by the Queen.
She often attends the performance at both The Royal Theatre and Tivoli Park.

Thank you, Yumiko - do you have any idea how long it will be available? It might be worth putting it in the Calendar.
50 years is an incredible achievement, too.
Not sure how long it is available. In the past, Royal Danish Ballet dancers’ documentary series (televised in 2020) was available a month or longer.

they really should have an automated returns process, human error is clearly always going to happen and cause these situations. If we can buy tickets online why not return them. (Well given the state of the website it did actually take a while to just buy smoothly so I’ll wait a few years for additional functions…)
Royal Danish Ballet (RDB) has automated exchange process, but for exchange only.
Go to your upcoming event page, pick your puchased ticket and click return.
Then you need to choose the seat you desire which has to be the same or higher price range.
Admin fee (15DK, less than £2) is payable.
Super simple.
When you enter the theatre, your ticket will be checked by a reading gadget, not human eyes.
This works well only if your desired seat is available and the ticket price is the same or higher.

Dear Moderator
Naomi M is absolutely right.
When you have a moment, could you amend ‘New National Theatre, Tokyo’ part to The National Ballet of Japan?
