  1. I have not had good experience with Dancia and I've also heard other fellow adult dancers having problems with shoes that were fitted by them. When I was there, the fitter was already giving me shoes to try base on what I told her I was wearing. She did not examine my feet, did not even get close or touch the shoes when I had them on and didn't ask many questions. It didn't feel very thorough. So I came out with a pair of Merlets which felt very comfortable when I was there, but later realised it was too narrow for me and ended up with bunion pain for months, which started gradually until it got unbearable and I finally realised it was because of these shoes 😢 Having said that, they clearly have many returning customers so perhaps it's a hit and miss depending on who you get. But unless you know who to ask for perhaps it's better to go elsewhere, especially when it's a first time fitting and your daughter probably doesn't know what it should feel like and what may be issues to raise to the fitter. Like others have said if you can shop around that would be ideal. Personally I go to Bloch as their shoes have worked well for me, the fitters i've had there had been very thorough and very helpful. I've also tried Freeds and they were equally good. Just be aware that some shops (Bloch for certain, not sure about the others) may require advance booking!
  2. Not sure if you still need this but my teacher is currently teaching her classes on zoom, there is a RAD intermediate class (there's only adults students) on Tuesday evenings: https://www.cariadballet.com/classes Classes goes back to studio whenever it's allowed to do so, but with an option to stay on zoom for people who cannot make it. She's also an RAD examiner and teaches as the HQ.
  3. Items currently on hold for a potential buyer, but do let me know if you're still interested incase it falls through! I have 2 Capezio and a lot of Bloch/Mirella, all in size S. I think the amount of fabric used is similar, but it's not as stretchy. I'm probably on bigger end of a small and these leotards fits me fine but when I lift my arms I can feel a pull. And due to that lack of stretch, it's also a bit tight on the bust area if you are on the more busty side 😅 Oo... let me PM you
  4. Looking to sell the following leotards: Aurora in Artic night (navy) - Adult Small Clara in Candycane (red) - Adult Small Both of which are currently sold out on the official site. They are brand new with tags on. I tried them on and unfortunately they are a bit small for me, so going to try to see if anyone wants them in the UK before I send them back! With customs and delivery it costed me about £65 each. Looking for £60 or best offer.
