Hello can anyone suggest where I would find a reasonably priced little dress for a contemporary solo, looking for something along the lines of a short camisole dress that shorts could be worn underneath as she is a teenager and wants something abit more grown up . I've looked at the usual sites dance direct etc , found a few but they seem to be a bit longer than she wanted, i.e. More lyrical styled. A friend suggested a nice satin / silky camisole slip dress but would that look like she was wearing a sexy nightdress ?? And would it be too restrictive for high leg kicks ?

Do cecchetti publish a list of all dancers selected from each country ?

Sounds like the standard of entrants are extremely high then. well done to the Uk students who have been selected and look forward to hearing of some UK success stories .

Hello everyone I am new to the forum but a felllow ballet mom recommended I join the site for information / advice Does anyone have any experience of the above competition ? I know it is only held every 3 years but wondered if any of your children entered in 2014 ? I know there are 7 junior entrants for the U.K and 3 senior, but does anyone know how many competitors there are in the finals from the rest of the world ? What the standard is like and what to expect ? Any information would be greatly appreciated
