I throughly enjoyed it with my daughter at our local cinema. Also delighted to see an Upper School student we know in the performance. All be it a small part on the steps - nice to see the company offering these opportunities to students.

My daughter has them and loves them. Won’t even consider anything else. Says they are more comfortable than her flats!!

Hi, I was wondering if anyone had any Yumiko or LuckyLeo leotards they are selling. I would love to buy a few for my daughter. Looking at site s or xs. will consider other brands - but want something a little different. Thank you

Are these still for sale?

My daughter had only been dancing for 6 months when she successfully auditioned for JA's - so don't let that put you off. However if she is currently year 6 she would have to audition for MA's as JA's is for year 4, 5 and 6. My daughter has been an associate with a few different places and honestly the range of body shapes is quite wide. Best advice is to audition for those that are doable, enjoy them and then see what is offered, then a decision can be made. My only other word of advice would be to remember that some associate class's are ultimately business - so try to be objective about whether it is worth it. It is very exciting to be offered a place but look at who will be teaching the class and if it is of benefit or if the money would be better spent on private's, intensives etc. good luck.

Just a little update. My daughter decided to try going back to class, her decision, she came to me and said she thought she had maybe been a little rash in her decision and that maybe she should give it another go. She says she still doesn't know why she wanted to stop? Anyway she has done quite a bit this week and so far has had a great week? Who knows what goes on in their heads 🤷🏼‍♀️. Thank you again everyone for your words and thoughts. We are still working through it. I really don’t know what is going on as she doesn’t want to talk about anything. But she will in time. But for now she wants nothing to do with ballet! She is going cold turkey! It feels very strange.

Hi, just after some words of wisdom. My daughter has suddenly decided to give up ballet. She is 13 and over the last few years has been dancing 4-5 times a week, 2/3 hours a night, so this is a big decision. She has just passed her intermediate exam and has been a JA and MA. The decision has come from no where and it has knocked me for six. Obviously I will support her in her decision but right now I am concerned she is being too rash. Any advice gratefully received!

They certainly won’t be the only new child entering that year. I know of a lovely child going in September. And I know one who is continuing on into the sixth form who is also lovely. I’m sure anyone joining will be fine. Well done for all the places!

Is the leotard still for sale?

Hi yes I did. I rang today and although my results email said White Lodge Only Audituon, which is what panicked me, I did in fact tick the MA box. So panic over and now just to wait for the invitable no!

I also have a terrible feeling I didn’t tick the MA box!?! I feel sick. I’ll email tomorrow but do t hold much hope as it says it can’t be added at this stage.

She was auditioning for year 9. Yes results are by email in order of the auditions. My daughter is fine, thank you. She wasn’t expecting a yes. Good luck to everyone else x
