    Vladimir Malakhov hat in seiner Karriere keine Mühen und Anstrengungen
    gescheut an die Spitze zu kommen und dort zu bleiben. Er wusste immer, dass
    neben Talent und Fleiß auch Glück dazugehört, welches ihm im hohen Maße
    zuteilwurde. Doch nicht jeder in der Tanzwelt gehört zu den Begünstigten.
    Bereits seit vielen Jahren macht er sich für junge, talentierte sowie unverschuldet
    in Not geratene Tänzer stark, meist im Stillen.
    Um diesem Wirken eine stärkere, effektivere Basis zu geben, gründete er im
    Januar 2014 die Malakhov Foundation.

    Stiftungsziele:

    Die Malakhov Foundation vergibt Stipendien, gewährt Unterhaltsbeihilfen und
    Zuschüsse zu Aus- und Weiterbildung und medizinischen Maßnahmen und
    unterstützt Austauschprogramme und kulturelle Einrichtungen.

    Vladimir Malakhov has spared no effort in his career to get to the top and stay there. He has always known that in addition to talent and hard work the most important thing is luck. But not everyone in the dance world is one of the beneficiaries. He has already been engaged for young, talented and needy dancers, mostly in silence. In order to provide a stronger, more effective base this work, he has now established the Malakhov Foundation.

    The Foundation aims:

    • support of art and dance, especially through the active ballet lessons
    • Providing a grant aid for education and recovery in cases of illness to needy, incapacitated dance artists or their families
    • provision of maintenance grants and subsidies for the costs of medical treatment, rehabilitation measures, stays at health resorts, retraining and training, as well as in the individual case the assumption of such costs
    • awarding scholarships under the terms and conditions posted on the website of the company
    • Procurement of money and material resources for their own and / or other tax-exempt bodies or for public bodies to be used for tax-privileged purposes

    Taglioni – European Ballet Award Eines der ersten Großprojekte der Foundation ist die Austragung des 1. Europäischen Ballettpreises „Taglioni – European Ballet Award“. Benannt wurde der Preis nach Marie Taglioni (1804-84), eine der berühmtesten Tänzerinnen der Romantik und die erste Sylphide, die den Spitzentanz im 19. Jahrhundert populär machte. Im Rahmen einer festlichen Gala findet die diesjährige Verleihung am 27. September im Maritim Hotel Berlin statt. In 13 Kategorien werden die besten Leistungen der Europäischen Ballettkunst des Jahres 2013 von einer Expertenjury aus Fachjournalisten ausgezeichnet. Eine große Ehre ist die Zusammenarbeit mit der KPM - Königliche Porzellan- Manufaktur, die die hochwertigen Porzellan-Trophäen für die 13 Preisträger herstellt.
