  1. Hi! Just found out that Move Dancewear have now got the contract here in the UK to sell Weissman costumes . It was only just last Friday that it started. Phew! We order lots from there at this time of year so glad there is somewhere else. Still very sad for Dance Depot who I used for many years not just for Weissman. 😞
  2. Starlite Direct have some jazz pants with longer lengths in their clearance if your teachers have accounts with them
  3. Silky do nude seamless high cut briefs from ages 4 up to extra large adult. They are sold from www.dancinginthestreet.com I'm ordering a pair today so will let you know the verdict... ????
  4. Meggy13 We have done a few EYB's and have always received the provisional rehearsal days and times in the audition pack. The dates are always the same, it's just sometimes slightly different on times and the rehearsal venue may not be confrmed. It is usually a secondary school in the area that has plenty of halls/sports halls in to allow the different groups to practice. We haven't any near us in 2016 so am looking forward to the 2017 venues being announced.
  5. It has previously been at the Olympia and I must say I did prefer it there compared to the Excel. The Olympia had the benefit of the glass roof which made it a lot lighter as it seemed so dark there. The balcony around the whole venue at the Olympia was great as you could go up there to watch the main stage as well as the freestyle stage. It also allowed for more room to sit and eat lunch/rest up. The benefits of the Excel were that there was more of a choice for food as you could go outside into the area around the main part to eat and be let back in ( stamp on hand).
  6. Good luck all! A friend of mine found out yesterday that her daughter got a no. Unsure whether it was an email or letter though X
  7. My daughter is also JA age in main cast covering JA ballet so another one into the mix! Danceroo-as we worked out our girls already know each other that would be lovely if she does reside-there could be a chance they share a room? My DD is very much looking forward to her first experience with NYB -will be very quiet at home without her!
  8. Ah congrats- this is great news! My DD has been offered a place in the main company having been asked to come to both recalls ( she is JA age). She was so poorly on Sunday and didn't end up going in to audition room so I am so glad she had got to dance on the 23rd! She had a recall last year for JA and didn't get a place so really pleased for her this year and she's really looking forward to it. Clara- I hope your DD gets a residential place-if she was there last year I'm sure there is a good chance if a place is available. Fingers crossed here too :-)
