  1. The Cranes Dance by Meg Howrey was very enjoyable if you're looking for fiction. Also Michaela DePrince's Hope in A Ballet Shoe is also a lovely autobiography.
  2. I've heard it's meant to be a new production by Liam Scarlett. I hope it's mainly drastic changes in design rather than choreography.
  3. Don't think the casting matters to the cameras to begin with. It's as much a rehearsal for them to see the general movement and practice close ups etc
  4. How about The Little Match Girl? Age appropriate now but also, no one really knows how old the girl actually was so could mature it as the years go!
  5. Interval times are mainly decided on the amount if time it takes to reset or change the set during the ballet. During triples this tends to be longer as it tends to go from a really full stage to an empty one with a change of lino as it's been mentioned. They also have to refocus lights and there's lots to focus usually. And finally it's not just a matter of flying things in and out, they have to remove cloths off bars and add new ones etc... So basically yes they have amazing facilities and they do work as fast as they can but it does take long sometimes. Obviously longer intervals also help sell merchandise and gifts too, we can't deny that one
