Pleased to say my show is over and went really well. Off on holiday for a week then to concentrate on the lists of clothing etc for Sept. My label sewing skills are pretty rubbish I have to say.

Anyone know what happens on induction day??

I only found out on here. No letter yet however I did call White Lodge to confirm the date and they said it would be May 18th.

Just waiting on hall availabilty for the Sunday so hopefully can do both. Ive always been there 100% for my school but sometimes family has to come first. DS also has many quick changes so wouldn't want him to miss rehearsal either. I'm sure it will all work out. I have a lovely school with lovely mums and dads, most if not all will be fine as I can give plenty of advance notice. I'm very lucky.

Thanks for the date info. I will have to do a lot of shuffling around. Can't really miss my own dress rehearsal. Feel bad asking 200 pupils to change their plans because of my son but what else can I do. Just gotta make sure I can get my hall on another day. All my costumes are being hand delivered from France on that day too. Oh well, Where there's a will there's a way.

Oh No. I really hope induction day is not May 18th. I run my own dance school and our full dress rehearsal for my forthcoming show is that day. If anyone knows for sure please let me know as I may be able to change all my pupils to a different day as I think it is really important that we are there.

I just found this forum today. My son has been accepted to White Lodge year 7 in Sept. He is so worried about not knowing anyone as he is a quiet boy. Would be really nice to hear from the people who have children going maybe they can meet or chat online before they pack their suitcases. I know he would feel much better if he thought he had a couple of friends there. We are in Essex.
