alison
While playing around with my user settings (on the dropdown menu next to my username at top right), I've discovered there's an "Ignore" feature called "Manage Ignore Prefs". It allows you to ignore the posts, or even the signatures, of specified individual members should you choose, and can be switched on or off at will. I don't think anyone here actually has an all-singing, all-dancing signature, but given the extremely LOUD and bulky signatures (several inches deep, multicoloured and sometimes with marquee text or videos/Vines playing) I see on some forums, I think this can only be a good thing
Anna C
Ooh, indeed! I use another forum occasionally and many of the signatures there go on for miles! How very handy; thank you. :-)

alison
It's just occurred to me to wonder if this feature still exists with the new software? I certainly can't see any means of easily setting it from the potential ignoree's posts.
John Mallinson
Alison, I think you have to go to your Settings and click Ignored Users and the add whomsoever - is this different from before?
alison
I don't know: being a Moderator, I've never done it
Colman
Since I've just had reason to use this I'm going to bump this thread to remind people of the option.
