aileen
It's disappointing that Royal Ballet of Flanders aren't dancing now. I probably wouldn't have booked for this if I'd known this beforehand.
barton22
Hopefully Random Dance will dance Outlier well, but I agree it would be nice to see it danced by a classical company given that it was created on one. It will be interesting to see it again, though. I saw it in New York when it was in its first run there and while I haven't thought much of Wayne's post-Infra work (I think Chroma and Infra are very good), I recall thinking this one was pretty good (well, I didn't dislike it as much as I have his more recent work for the Royal Ballet). Speaking of Royal Ballet Flanders, does anyone know what is happening to them since their AD was terminated? Having seen them dance Artifact at Sadler's Wells a couple of years ago and feeling it was one of the most remarkable dance experieiences I have ever had, it seems such a shame that they no longer seem to dance Forsythe. I'm looking forwaard to seeing the Crystal Pite piece.
Friends
I was fortunate to go and see the dress rehearsal of this production last night. It was a great evening and the Crystal Pite piece was very creative and powerful. Looking forward to seeing it again on Saturday
