Hammond network coverage

Hi

 

Please can anyone advise which network provider has the best coverage at either of the Hammond boarding houses, my dd is due to start yr7 September, she is currently on Three but unsure what the coverage is like, also we would like to get her an iPad so she can skype as they don't have wifi in the boarding houses

Dd is on Vodafone but I don't have any comparisons.

 

Coverage at the school itself is appalling (but they arnt allowed to take phones/iPads into school anyway. The boarding houses are very close to Chester town centre so I think most networks are ok.

My DD is on 3 and has no problems. She hasn't been able to FaceTime me but we haven't thought of trying Skype

Same here .... Network coverage is fine unlike when elder dd was first there , she had to hang out of the boarding house window to maintain a signal

Great thank you for your feedback dd dad works abroad so calling would be very expensive so trying to look at other options

You might find it varies within the boarding house rooms (Hampton Lodge). My daughter is on EE and gets a good signal in her bedroom, but not enough to Skype if he moves out of the room.
