My DD took part in Newport and had a great experience. Once it gets underway it's a well run opportunity. Well done for gaining a scholarship!

Thank you that puts my mind at rest. I know my daughter is so looking forward to it so didn't want it to be a big let down for her.

Thanks again.

We did it in May and have never received the DVD despite emailing Angela, any response would have been good even if it was to say sorry, no DVD. It's a great pity as we enjoyed the experience and DS had a solo which unfortunately we don't have a record of.

I thought someone on the site knew how to get one but didn't get a reply. If anyone has a copy from the Derby May 2013 performance and would be prepared to lend it to  me I would be extremely grateful.

Jill

Some students at dd's school are doing the one in Whitley Bay, performances at the end of March. They're really enjoying the rehearsals :)

That is a great shame, this is the sort of thing that puts you off though isn't it. It is very rude not to even respond to you! I hope you manage to get a DVD cause its lovely to look back on things like that.

Thanks Aurora I found that on google but then I couldn't find where the performance was being done, I half thought it had been cancelled or something.

We had an invite to the Halifax auditions direct from angela as dd had taken part before. Unfortunately we weren't able to attend this time but I'm sure your dd will have a great time. Congratulations on the scholarship

If you've read earlier thread you'll see we had some initial issues, but these were sorted out with Angela, and dd had a great time.

Hi Lisa, my daughter has been offered a place in this as well and we are having the same concerns.

We are more than likely going to give it a go and hope for the best.

I thought the audition was well organised and my daughter really liked the ballet teacher. It all seemed professional and genuine but like you I'm concerned about the lack of a website and information online. It's a lot of money to waste so it's good to read on here that people have had some positive experiences.

How do you find out about their auditions if they don't have a website??

Do they ever come to the SE of England?

Hi Gracie

Aw lovely to hear your DD got a place too, hopefully we will see you there then. My daughter was the little one that got the part scholarship. Yes my DD really enjoyed the audition too so I'm hoping that it is a good experience for them all. How old is your DD?

Hi lemongirl she organiser seems to contact local schools inviting them to attend the audition, that's how we heard about it.

Aw yes I remember her, she was very brave dancing with the older girls :-)

My daughter is 10. She's really looking forward to it.

I know she was so nervous dancing with the big girls, I felt a bit sorry for her, but I suppose it will hopefully give her more confidence for these sort of things. Hopefully it will all go well, at least we can update on here too. I'm sure they will have lots of fun.
