Wireless service in Stuttgart, Germany

Hi, balletsoccermom.  How long will she be going for, is she going to be living in provided student accommodation, and will she just be needing it where she's living, or elsewhere?  Another question is how old she is: if she's not old enough to enter into a contract legally, that might cause problems, I suppose.

Interestingly, I've just found this:

http://www.young-germany.de/topic/live/your-digital-rights-in-germany.  It's quite an eye-opener.

Looks as though the website in general might be quite useful for her.  In the meantime, I'll put out some feelers.

Also, this might be of more general use: http://www.german-way.com/travel-and-tourism/telephone-tips-for-germany/internet-computers-in-germany/

I hadn't thought about the length of contract.  MiFi sounds as though it might be useful.

Hi.  Yes, dd has a scholarship to train for two years in Germany.  She will be in housing provided by the school, however we have been informed that there is no wireless access.  She will be needing it mainly in her room so she could do online schooling.  We will be traveling with her to settle her in.  Would they allow the parents to sign the contract?  Thank you for the information.  I will take a look at the sites you provided.
