Picturesinthefirelight
Thinking way ahead now (though it soon creeps up) but am I correct in thinking that only Tring & Hammond offer A Levels (& Hammond only offer 2) alongside general Dance/MT training. Anna C
Elmhurst offer A'Levels. At Central I believe they are optional but subject choice was limited.
Picturesinthefirelight
purely classical schools won't be suitable I'm afraid.

amum/Cathy
What about Arts Ed? Pretty sure they do A levels.....
Picturesinthefirelight
I don't think there is funding for Arts Ed the school at 16 though, only for the college at 18. We would be able to afford some fees but not boarding.
Busymum
Can't think of any other other than Tring and Hammond. At Tring they can choose as many as they like in reason. Some find they drop some though. Some students definitely achieve really good results taking more than 2 there. Picturesinthefirelight
I just looked at Arts Ed website & it's a day school, we live way too far away.
taximom
The Brit school used to take a certain number from outside their catchment area? If successful you wouldn't have fees but would then be able to consider the accommodation option. I don't know if this is still available. amum/Cathy
We know a boy who ds did JAs with who went through White Lodge up to year 11 then went to Arts Ed for sixth form. He will have had to find somewhere to board. I know fundraising was going to be an issue as obviously no MDS anymore for him. Don't know if they do DADAs there? Picturesinthefirelight
I've heard mixed reviews of BOA from friends who are teachers in the area. Not really interested in the Btec to be honest , more 3 a levels alongside daily ballet class with tap, Jazz & the opportunity to study singing. Anyone heard anything about the standard of dance at Abbots Bromley?
