  2. At the risk of sounding impatient, can I ask if anyone knows when casting for Autumn is likely to be announced? I'm trying to make some plans and am wondering whether it's worth holding off.
  3. Just managed to complete my booking for Period 1 - very rusty after so long and ended up having to buy my two packages separately and then add some extras as a third transaction. Broadband just about held up and I’m delighted with the tickets. Here’s hoping this is another step in the return to pre COVID familiar ways.
  4. Got it.... AutumnBalletCasting2019.pdf NB: For Monotones casting, see Bluebird's post on page 8
  5. Quoting Bruce's post as it's relevant here too: My purchases went smoothly this morning, too, although like Bruce I don't remember spending so much in the past - and certainly not on so few tickets! I couldn't get nearly everything I wanted, either - although that's partly due to the fact that tickets I might have bought in the past are now outside my budget - so I'll keep my eyes open nearer the time for the "missing" performances. I do find it frustrating, though, having to remember to allow an extra "safety" 5 minutes to do the credit card details by hand each time - I was on-site for around an hour in total, and quite frankly couldn't be bothered to go round and do it all again for a third time.
  6. The RB casting for Mayerling, La Bayadere, Infra/Unknown Soldier/Symphony in C , and Nutcracker has been announced (just received an email). Can't immediately upload it as the file too large... anyone else got this and able to share it easily?
  7. ...thought I’d read that ROH was announcing detailed cast lists today, but nothing so far...anybody know anything ?
  8. Some of it is currently on the ROH website: http://www.roh.org.uk/productions/alices-adventures-in-wonderland-by-christopher-wheeldon http://www.roh.org.uk/productions/sylvia-by-frederick-ashton I assume the rest of it will be there soon. Edited to add that there's currently a problem with the listed Nutcracker casting. Calvert, Kish, Maguire, Dyer and Marriott are down to do every single performance! Edited again to record that this has now been corrected. They're now down for 2 performances rather than 24!
  9. Virtually nothing left for Macmillan triple bill on 18/19 October.Even Orchestra Stalls completely sold out for 19th.
  10. I can't see that we have a thread already going for this, but someone please let me know if there is one and I'll merge them. Mixed feelings about today's experience, really. Despite the ROH website informing me that there would be a queue operating from 8.55 am, and despite my refreshing the page numerous times from that time onwards, I didn't get put into the queue until 9 am, by which time there were some 750 people ahead of me Not hugely successful, but I've known worse. Have had to go for a few rear amphi standings, which is not normal. (If anyone has any inexpensive Nunez/Muntagirov Filles or Osipova Anastasias - but not the cinema one - going spare, please bear me in mind ) I gave up in the end: it's too hot to bother. Internet Explorer was only giving me the "best available" option at times, and of course the ROH website and I don't agree on what's "best", so I gave up and used Firefox, which wasn't, although that tended to hang annoyingly. NB: there is far better availability for Les Enfants Terribles on the Barbican website - although there *is* a booking fee to be contended with there.

  12. According to a posting on the ROH website, Nutcracker casting has been confirmed/changed (unspecified) here: http://www.roh.org.uk/productions/the-nutcracker-by-peter-wright If anyone can find the Period 1 casting thread (which hasn't been tagged - GRRR), please let me know and I'll move this.
  13. Disappointed to see so few appearances for Edward Watson in the forthcoming season. Whilst it is pleasing to have the return of Winter's Tale and I have just managed to get a ticket for Osipova in Romeo and Juliet, I don't want to see Raven Girl (once was more than enough) and Flight of a Faun left me cold last time. Poor Edward.
  14. Brilliant. They force us to get in before office hours open (if we want decent tickets) and then we get "Server Error: Service Unavailable (503)" Seriously not impressed. And every time I try adding anything to my shopping basket I get "There was a problem with your request. Unknown error". Very helpful. It's not as if it was only the Osipova/Muntagirov R&Js, either - it's been every performance I've tried. I've had to watch tickets disappearing from under my nose while I can't get at them. Rubbish.
  15. I see that Francesca Hayward has lead roles in Manon and Alice. Very exciting for her.
