Has anyone applied for this years summer school at OPES? Ive been trying to contact them for the past couple of weeks via phone and email and had no luck. I can download the form for applying which is fine, but I dont want to send it off with payment before checking first that they have spaces etc. Can anyone whos been there/going this year tell me how it works X

Okay,I know what you're thinking. ..I just wanted to know when places release their dates. We missed everything this year due to holidays and I've promised DD she can go next year but I also like to book our holidays in advance. Thank you.

Firstly I'm sorry if this tag has already been made . I'm thinking about doing opes next year but I'm not sure if it will be too hard for me! Im 13 but will be 14 when I do it , what are the age groups and type of things do you do ? Thank you

Good afternoon! DD decided she wanted to go to OPES, we sent forms off and as far as we know - it is all systems go. She is now worrying/panicing about what she will need to take with her dance wise. I've said I'm sure we'll get a 'kit list' in plenty of time, and as long as we have leotards/tights/shoes that will be fine! However, someone, somewhere has told her she will need to take a tutu and jazz trainers. ( She has the tutu but not jazz trainers as prefers to dance in foot thongs ) PLEASE! does anyone have a kit list from previous years that I can set DDs mind at rest with? ! THANK YOU!

I thought I had decided on which summer school to do, until a kind member suggested OPES! Wow. It looks great to do up to 3 weeks of ballet! In weeks the English school system can do! So, could anybody tell me what OPES is like? RBS is my first choice of course, but I thought I had decided on Moorland. Can anybody tell me what Moorland SS is like too? I feel like I'm going to end up doing a week at Ballet West, a week Moorland and a week OPES, but I doubt my parents would agree! Thank you!

We have to book holiday dates for next summer so I'm trying to pin down SS dates. I've researched on here and think I've narrowed it down to Opes or York Dance Assembly. Which would you recommend for a first time residential. ..lots of ballet but perhaps some musical theatre too. Know I'm asking a lot now but does anybody have any dates for 2017? Thanks...you're all brilliant.

Last minute places for OPES ! Due to injuries we have places on our amazing Summer School OPES. We offer great classes but also the opportunity to learn a great deal of repetoire and, if of the right age, you have the wonderful chance to do pas de deux as we get alot of very good boys. Week 1 ( 31st July-5th August )=1 place Week 2 ( 7th August-12th August)= 3 places. Please PM if interested. Much loveā¤
