Has anyone’s child done any of the workshops with midland theatre ballet and would recommend them?

My 8 year old daughter is through to the final audition for MTB's next production. Can anyone shed any light on how it works? She's been put in level 2 and I'm a little worried she'll be up against older, more advanced girls (she's only taking RAD grade 1 this summer). No-one from her school has ever been part of this programme before so I'm at a loss for advice! Thanks in advance!

Hi my daughter has got through the first stages of audition and is due to attend the final audition for them to select cast members. Has anyone on here been through the final audition process who could give me an idea as to what happens please? She is 8. Thank you xx

Just seen Midland Theatre Ballet have released their auditions for their next production, Beauty and The Beast, how exciting!! My DD did it a few years ago and loved every minute, I would highly recommend it if anyone lives in the Midlands. Preliminary information about a new theatre ballet group popped up on my facebook page this morning. Copied and pasted the information for anyone interested in finding out more. "New youth ballet company for Somerset and Devon regions. We are delighted that the Lead In American in Paris Leanne Cope and soloist of The Royal Ballet Paul Kay are our Patrons. South West Theatre Ballet is an extension of Midland Theatre Ballet, which has been successfully running for 6 years, and we shall be holding auditions for our production of Beauty and the Beast in 2018 on the 29th and 30th April 2018 at Queens College, Somerset and Dartington,Yeovil . I see on Midland Theatre Ballet's Facebook page that their evening performance on March 19th is to celebrate their 5th anniversary and to raise funds for paralympian Piers Gilliver on his route to Rio 2016. They also have guest dancers from Birmingham Royal Ballet and English National Ballet dancing alongside this years cast, how exciting!
