Loved watching this program. My DD's used to compete against Jacob many years ago and we have watched him dance over the years. Jacob was outstanding last night. So pleased for him.

I think your right Aileen. I think she does miss it but will not admit it. Every time I try to talk about it, it ends up in an argument. I have to accept her decision but I don't agree with it.

My eldest DD from a young age attending singing, drama and dance classes. We travelled to London for musical theatre classes at weekends. She appeared in many many local show with lead roles. For many years this continued up to the age of 16. Her dream to train in musical theatre. She spent one year at a performing arts school and then quit! Has returned to normal college to study and has completely turned her back on everything! To this day she still hasn't told me the real reason she quit. I feel sad and still dont understand how she can just stop something that she always loved!

Wow can't believe that it was a year ago when we shared our news, that my DD had been offered a place at Rambert. Well done to those who have been offered places. My DD absolutely loves it's and is incredibly happy.

This is so frustrating, especially for those who auditioned for 2014-15!!!! The huge rise of the dada for the Sept 2014 from the year previous to that, meant so many people had to turn down places, my daughter included. This scale is MUCH better. makes me cross!

After all the time I spent on the phone trying to sort this out, we are right back at square one as the paper work sent to Lucy at her new forthcoming London address, asks her to submit a utility bill in her name at this address. I'm not able to travel to London prior to her moving next week to visit the Post Office, so I just have to hope her school will be able to help!

I rang yesterday and was on the phone for a long time. The nice lady I spoke to completed the application for me using the address DD will be staying at in London. Paperwork is being sent to this address and then we have to take this to PO with a photo etc... I asked if I needed a verification letter form for school to stamp etc... And she said no. I some how don't think it's going to be that straight forward. There is bound to be something wrong.

My DD too had Meningococcal Septacemia. Horrendous experience but recovered thank god! Thanks for the reminder will look into this

Kat09 which post office did you go to? I went to Hammersmith and Earls Court and was told they had no forms!!!

I was in London yesterday so asked at the Post Office. She told me me I had to apply online, which I tried today. Rambert told me that I need to print the verification letter for them to stamp. I can't even get far as that because the addresses don't match up! Drove me mad today lol! Will ring up tomorrow and see if I can get some help x thanks x

Need help! 16 yr old DD moving to London, we live in Wiltshire. Trying to apply online for the 16+ zip card. I just can't sort it out. Firstly I have to register my details as DD under 18yr but when I try to enter DD new London address it won't work. Anyone else sorted an oyster card out for their child for September? I'm near to throwing the laptop out of window! Thanks

Hi. I would say my DD is a versatile dancer but has chosen the route she wishes to follow by accepting Rambert in Sept. I was recently told by someone I respect, that my DD has narrowed her employment chances for the future by following this route. Can anyone who has followed this route give a bit more insight to what Contemporary work/ contracts is out there? Thanks xx
