Items now remaining - Bloch nude plain lined leotard - age 12 as new - intended to wear under costumes to aid quick changes £3 Deep red sleeveless leotard with ruched front and a mesh low back with strappy detail over (with little diamonte) size 3 - £3 (brand label removed but will have been from ballet shop) Navy camisole ruched front leotard (RBS MA leotard but the RBS name has totally worn off the back - no sign it was ever there!) - lovely fitting leotard though - size 2 £3 Black strappy back cotton double camisole strap leotard from Capezio - the style often used for modern ISTD exams - have in 2 sizes - intermediate and medium (will be child sizes) - £2 each Mirella petite black leotard (size worn off but looks the same size as other Mirella leotard) with slight mesh to straps and mid/low v neck back with stripy mesh design £2 Mirella deep red petite leotard with mesh neckline (very slight floral design in the same colour) and same colour mesh back. Very pretty. £3 Mirella (either petite or the size below as the size has worn off sorry) in light petrol blue/grey with small mesh design at neckline. (Top lined) Camisole style but not low cut - very modest but very pretty. Detailed back with mesh stripes but again not too open. Slight bobbles on bottom, £2 Black Capezio XS leotard with crossed design at neckline £3 Love Lily neutral wrap skirt with yellow flowers and dark green leaves. So pretty, fit young slim teen. Like new. £5 Just Jess black wrap skirt with grey maroon and yellow muted toned flowers - lovely skirt matches lots of leotards. Top part of this leotard, on the front and back, has gorgeous floral design in black velvet. A real favourite, always asked where from. £8 adult xs Mirella (either petite or the size below as the size has worn off sorry) in light petrol blue/grey with small mesh design at neckline. (Top lined) Camisole style but not low cut - very modest but very pretty. Detailed back with mesh stripes but again not too open. Slight bobbles on bottom, £2 High neck leotard with bardot lace design across neckline and covering top of shoulders. Popular leotard can’t think of the brand. Great condition Deep pinky red. Beautiful Lucky Leo 🍀 for sale. size small but comes up very petite sizing so more like xxs/xs IMO perfect as new condition £30 including postage Ice blue bodice with white/ivory lace straps and lace v back Bought on here last week but just too short in bodice for my dd. Gutted as it is absolutely stunning! I was warned but couldn’t resist it for that price as cost around £90 to buy! For size reference my teenage dds are approx 5’ 4 and only just too small. Personally I would say this would suit a dd age 10-13 or petite height of 5’3 or under Ideal for summer schools etc as very striking. can send photos

Hardback Copy for sale. What a beautiful book. An expensive book to buy but was worth the £35 I paid. Now Selling for £20 including postage. perfect condition. Fabulous book for any ballet lover, and especially if Dc at/considering vocational. Mine isn’t but I still read in 3 sittings.

A zip up or wide neck jumper is good to quickly pop on to help keep them warm between class and doesn’t risk knocking their bun. Some wore dance school or associate ones but equally dance / none dance clothing was worn. Otherwise leggings, joggers or soft shorts of a dance or non-dance brand are absolutely fine. An all in one warm up is also good but absolutely not necessary and most kids just wear very comfortable clothing. She definitely won’t feel left out xxx I’d take a couple of skirts and belts to compliment leotards if you have them but as long as she wears something that you know fits well and importantly she’s comfortable in she’ll feel at her best and most at ease xxx Hope she has a wonderful time.

What a wonderful post and wishing your son all the very best with his future training. He sounds like a very resilient and determined young man, you must be so incredibly proud.

I wonder if it’s because it’s similar to a stage if she’s dancing in a bigger studio for her first vocational grade. A little very soft blusher and mascara can brighten the face and open the eyes and the teacher may well think this will help? My dd started to wear very subtle make up like this for exams etc at about the same age but it should just be about lightly accentuating her face and not painting it x Of course if your dd would prefer not to, go with what makes her feel most comfortable and confident x
